Chapter 2

1.  And God said unto the man, Because thou hast eaten of the fruit, thou shalt leave thine parents’ house, and dwell in a two-bedroom apartment with limited Wi-Fi.

2.  And thy girlfriend shall speak in riddles, and thy days shall be long and confusing.

3.  And the man said unto the woman, Way to go, Eve… way to go.

4.  And he was named Adam, and he went forth to toil in Excel spreadsheets and YouTube explainers.

5.  And he begat sons and daughters, and lo, their mother-in-laws were wrathful and passive-aggressive.

6.  And God looked upon all that had been done, and said,

“Well… here we are.”
